The goal and heartbeat of the Annual Men’s Conferences of Men-in-Covenant (MiC) is to have a “men-only” platform where men irrespective of their convictions, philosophies and religious persuasions can come together in a relaxed and personal environment, and be meaningfully encouraged and practically equipped to enable them to successfully meet the daily life challenges they face as men.

Such Conferences are openly Christian in that all materials, plenary contents are based on Christian principles and practices, and personal life stories shared are by men who are Christians. MiC believes that such principles, practices and real life stories are relevant, inspiring and useful to all men and can be widely applied.

THIS CONFERENCE

Every man has a DESTINY… yet reaching it involves overcoming subtle dangers and making the right critical decisions. Come hear Dr Jerry White as he shares his life journey, practical handles in dealing with dangers he faced and principles in decisions he had to make as a leader, an officer, a husband and a father, and how these have helped him become the man he is today.

    TESTIMONIES FROM MEN’S CONFERENCE 2010

“What can I say? Just remember to tell me next year because I want to sign up and be blessed the way I was blessed. Even though I could not relate directly as my dad is no longer with me, the teachings, the experience, the atmosphere was enough to convince me this is an annual men’s event not to be missed!  Well done CEFC MiC!”

- CK, a men’s ministry leader
“The conference was superb! … I have been struggling in parenting my stepson and have gotten down on my knees to pray to God to help me. I believe God sent Josh to teach me during this conference.”

- TH, a father recently re-married

"I was taken in by his very candid and transparent sharing about his life, his struggles, his victories in Christ Jesus. …. Not to forget also the tips he gave on relating to our loved ones! It was a most blessed weekend well invested! To the organisers at Men-in-Covenant, thank you very much for making this event happen!”

- BL, father of 2 teenagers daughters and 1 teenage son
“The sharing by the two fathers at the Conference served as good reminders and inspiration that we too can become better dads for our children in spite of whatever negative circumstances we may experience ourselves. .. All in all, I am very blessed that I attended the conference.”

- Joshua, a father of 3 kids

“I had come expecting that the session will be lively, inspirational and informative – however, I was pleasantly surprised that Josh shared very intimately his life struggles and gave very vivid details of his painful past. I can only surmise that God is indeed a loving and merciful God to have brought this man from “where he was, to where he is”.

- DN, a father's prayer group chairman
“The 7As is a very good way to remember and to remind ourselves to constantly keep us in check as we connect with our children... Dr Josh McDowell has indeed put it in a very neat package for all of us. His message and personal testimony are certainly very inspiring.”

- SK, an Elder / Cell Overseer

“Dr McDowell's sharing is passionate and personal. His testimonies of God's truths in his life and passing on such real life experiences add a great deal of credibility to his teaching.”

- KP, a brother in his 40s
